Sample analysis

Our analyses will normally take 7 to 8 working days after sample receipt. For faster handling, we are also offering our clients the option of express analysis. In which case we will guarantee completion within three working days.

Services

We are offering 47 elements in our contract laboratory as a standard, but another 31 elements can be determined upon request. Only the determination of radioactive elements and inert gases is not included in our service spectrum.

Single determination is performed as a standard, but double determination and further measuring methods are also possible. The lowest limit of determination often depends on the sample quantity and/or sample matrix, but determinations are also possible in the lower single-digit ppm range as a rule.

Virtually all solid and liquid substances can be analysed as a sample matrix, including those that are sensitive to air and temperature.

Expertise 

Fast processing is as matter of course for the Microanalytical Laboratory Kolbe as comprehensive and expert consultancy. This support ranges from a discussion of the required elements to the clarification of possible sources of error. We are happy to help you find the reasons for bad analysis results, be it by identifying the source of impurities or searching for ways of significantly improving them. That we will also support you in the method development for operation analyses and/or projects should go without saying.
